Attraction :  Lahaina Kaanapali & Pacific Railroad's restored replicas of the Hawaiian steam locomotive, chugs its way through the colorful history and breath-taking scenes of Maui by bringing back memories, sounds, and experiences of turn-of-the-century sugar plantation life. The sugar cane trains of the past were used to transport sugar cane from the fields to the mills and a popular means of transportation for sugar workers in the early 1900's. The Lahaina and Kaanapali train stations, architecturally designed to resemble turn-of-the-century boarding platforms are a delightful glimpse at Hawaii's historical and cultural past.
