Description : Bamboo is Located on three-fourths acre of lush, tropical landscaping complete with waterfalls and ponds. You will feel as though you have stepped in to a Bamboo forest. Your upstairs unit is built above the owners' home, and has a separate entrance and a gorgeous view. No other vacationers will be sharing this property with you, but the owners, Bill and MaryEllen will probably be in residence downstairs Bamboo is furnished tropical island-style with folk art and statuary from Bali, , ceiling fans, a jacuzzi in the yard, and a gorgeous view across the Kalihiwai River Valley .You will enjoy the peacefulness and sounds of the waterfalls, and still be within a stroll to Kalihiwai and Anini beaches, five minutes from world-class golf at Princeville, and a short drive to the ecletic shopping and dining in charming Hanalei Town. Wildlife viewing is nearby at Kilauea Lighthouse, as is a Thursday Farmers' Market. Gardeners will love the dozens of orchids, heliconias, and bromeliads in Bamboo's garden and the relaxing sounds of the three waterfalls. Feeding the koi in the pond is lots of fun. Watersports enthusiasts can windsurf at near- by Anini Beach, snorkel or scuba at Tunnels, kayak at Kalihiwai, go deep-sea fishing from Anini Beach or swimming and shelling at any number of close-by beaches. There are flowers and fruit in the yard, and an outdoor shower, a gas barbecue,and a jacuzzi in a Balinese enclosure for your use in the garden. Beach chairs, towels, and ice chests are provided, as well as snorkel gear, bicycles, and double kayaks. Bamboo can accommodate up to three guests.There is a queen bed in the separate bedroom, and a double futon in the livingroom. Due to ponds and waterfall this property is not suitable for children. Cancellation Policy We try to arrange things on a case-by-case basis, rather than rules set in concrete. However some general guidelines have been established: For stays that have been made with a reservation deposit that are cancelled more than 60 days before your dates, a $50 charge applies, and the rest of your deposit is returned to you. For stays that have been paid for in full and are cancelled less than 60 days before your dates, a $50 charge applies, and your funds are returned to you if we are able to re-book your dates in full. If at all possible, it is preferable to merely change the dates of your vacation, rather than cancel it entirely, and we will work with you on this. |
